The rules of the game. Keep it fun, keep it clean, keep it passionate.
What's Welcome
- Hot takes, bold predictions, and strong sports opinions
- Respectful (and not-so-respectful) trash talk about rival teams
- Criticism of players, coaches, referees, and team decisions
- Recruiting analysis, transfer portal discussion, NIL opinions
- Game day reactions, post-game breakdowns, and season predictions
- Sharing news, stats, and highlights
- Casual language — this is a sports fan community, not a courtroom
What's Not Allowed
- Hate speech — Slurs or discriminatory language targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
- Sexual content — Sexually explicit text, images, or solicitation
- Threats — Credible threats of violence against specific individuals
- Doxxing — Sharing someone's personal information (home address, phone number, etc.)
- Harassment — Targeted, persistent harassment of other users or private individuals
- Spam — Commercial solicitation, bot activity, or repetitive posting
- Copyright infringement — Posting full articles or content you don't own
Where's the Line?
We know the difference between "that ref should be fired" (totally fine) and a genuine threat. We know "Florida State sucks" (carry on) is different from targeting someone with slurs. Our moderation system — a combination of AI and human review — is tuned for a sports community. We'd rather err on the side of letting passionate fans be passionate.
Criticizing a player's performance? Go for it. Using racial slurs against a player? That's a ban. Saying a coaching decision was terrible? That's what we're here for. Threatening a coach's family? Permanent ban and potential law enforcement referral.
